Direct Billing Details

I’m pleased to offer Direct Billing to your private health insurance companies on your behalf. Please take note of the following:

• Direct Billing is not guaranteed. If there are complications with your direct billing you are expected to pay for your treatment and to submit your invoice to your insurer on your own

• Your direct billing information must be filled out and complete prior to the day of your first appointment; any incomplete paperwork will take up your appointment time

• I will direct bill to your primary insurer and not to secondary coverage through a partner/family member

• Any portion of your treatment fee that is not covered by your primary insurance is due at the end of the treatment

• Late cancellation and no-show fees are not eligible for reimbursement from an insurer

• Your insurance information will be kept on file as part of your patient record

• Check with your insurer to make sure they offer direct billing

• Check the list at the end of the email for eligible insurance providers

• Check your coverage amounts

• Check to see if you need a doctor’s referral

• Check to see if you have deductible

Billing to ICBC, and WorkSafe BC is currently NOT offered. Please note that payment is due at the conclusion of your appointment and you will be issued a receipt to submit to your adjuster.
