Sickness Policies & Procedures (including but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, and the common cold)

  • **If you or someone in your household is symptomatic with influenza, the common cold, COVID-19, or other communicable diseases, cancel your appointment.**

    • At the practitioners discretion you will be turned away from your appointment if you are visibly ill. This is to protect your practitioner and immunocompromised patients who share the space.

  • Masks are not required, but you are welcome to wear one and to ask your practitioner to wear one as well

  • Please wait in your car until at least five minutes before your treatment (unless otherwise discussed with your practitioner for filling out forms)

  • Allow for extra time for cleaning between patients

  • For COVID: If you have been exposed to a COVID positive person, please wait 5 symptom free days before coming in for an appointment.

  • If the practitioner is symptomatic of communicable diseases including but not limited to COVID-19 or influenza, your appointment will be cancelled and rebooked into the next available time slot

  • You will be contacted if the practitioner tests positive and you were at risk of exposure to COVID-19

During Your Treatment

  • Cedar Coast Wellness is a home-based business! Park in the driveway in front of the green door, which is the private entrance for massage. Look for the “Open” sign!

  • Please do not bring children or pets to your treatment

  • Enter through the green door, but do not attempt to enter until at least 5 minutes before your treatment; the door is locked between patients

  • If you’ve filled out your intake form/health history and direct billing information prior to your first appointment, awesome! Otherwise we’ll take a few minutes of your appointment time to fill it out. To get the most out of your treatment try to fill it out ahead of time and please be as comprehensive as possible. Refusing to fill out a health history form accurately, or answer questions regarding your health history will result in a cancelled treatment.

  • Please email, text, or call regarding any concerns or needs you may have during your treatment

  • There is a bathroom available exclusively for the use of Cedar Coast Wellness

  • We’re scent free! Please avoid wearing perfumes or colognes

Cancellations & No-Shows

  • 24 hr notice is required for all cancellations to avoid a cancellation fee

  • A No Show Fee for 100% of the cost of treatment will be applied if the appointment is not cancelled and the patient does not arrive for treatment. Subsequent massages will be cancelled until this fee is paid

  • A Cancellation Fee for 100% of the cost of treatment will be applied if an appointment is cancelled within 24 hrs of the appointment. Subsequent massages will be cancelled until this fee is paid

  • These fees are not eligible for reimbursement from health insurance policies

Payment & Insurance

  • Payment in full is due at the conclusion of your treatment; debit and credit accepted

  • Direct billing is offered at Cedar Coast Wellness; see the Services & Booking page for more information

  • If you opt out of Direct Billing you will receive a receipt and invoice you can submit to your private health insurance provider for reimbursement if you are eligible. Please find out your eligibility before your treatment; your practitioner is unable to do this for you

  • If you are seeking treatment for an open ICBC case, there is no direct billing to ICBC at this time. Please call or email for more information regarding ICBC cases and treatment plans
